I was admitted to the Alberta bar in 1980 and have practised law in Edmonton continuously since then. I have lived all my life on the southside of Edmonton, having attended Strathcona High School and the University of Alberta. I earned a B.A. in English and Music in 1976 and my Bachelor of Laws degree in 1979. I have been married since 1980, and my wife and I have two adult sons. My passion is music, in particular opera, and I am proud to sing baritone in the Richard Eaton Singers. I have travelled to over 80 countries. I enjoy my commute to my office all year-round by bicycle.
