I was admitted to the Alberta bar in 1980 and have practiced law in Edmonton continuously since then. I have lived all my life on the South side of Edmonton, attending Strathcona High School and the U of A. I earned a B.A. in English and Music in 1976 and my Bachelor of Laws degree in 1979. I have been married since 1980, and my wife and I have two adult sons. My passions are music and travel and recreational cycling. I have visited over 80 countries. I am proud to sing baritone in Chorus Inspira (formerly the Richard Eaton Singers). I enjoy my commute to my office all year round by bicycle (though not ordinarily wearing a tuxedo).
